Vencedor dos prêmios Eisner e Ringo, o estilo do artista brasileiro favorito dos fãs, Mike Deodato, varia de desenhos de alta energia a um fotorrealismo noir. O amor de toda a vida de Deodato pelos quadrinhos vem de seu falecido pai, que também era quadrinista e orientou o crescimento artístico do filho.

Logo, Deodato se tornou um dos artistas mais prolíficos e requisitados daquela década, com créditos que incluem Vingadores (Marvel), Elektra, O Incrível Hulk, Homem-Aranha e Thor. Eventualmente, ele reduziu sua carga de trabalho e reinventou sua arte mais uma vez, criando um estilo mais sombrio e detalhado, que experimentou em uma história do Nightcrawler exibida em X-Men Unlimited. Deodato então conseguiu desenhar uma de suas séries favoritas até hoje: O Incrível Hulk, escrita por Bruce Jones.

Após 24 anos como artista exclusivo da Marvel, ele deixou a empresa para seguir uma carreira como criador. Os projetos mais recentes desta nova fase incluem Berserker Unbound, The Resistance, Bad Mother, Redemption, Not All Robots, The Fourth Man, Newthink, Absolution e Red Zone. Retornou à DC Comics em seis números de The Flash, aclamados pela crítica, e atualmente trabalha com a campeã do UFC Ronda Rousey em uma graphic novel chamada Expect The Unexpected.

Winner of the Eisner and Ringo Awards, Brazilian fan-favorite artist Mike Deodato’s style ranges from high-energy illustrations to noir photorealism. Deodato’s lifelong love of comics comes from his late father, who was also a comic book artist and guided his son’s artistic development.

Soon, Deodato became one of the most prolific and sought-after artists of that decade, with credits including Avengers (Marvel), Elektra, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, and Thor. Eventually, he reduced his workload and reinvented his art once again, creating a darker and more detailed style, which he experimented with in a Nightcrawler story featured in X-Men Unlimited. Deodato then had the opportunity to draw one of his favorite series to this day: The Incredible Hulk, written by Bruce Jones.

After 24 years as an exclusive Marvel artist, he left the company to pursue a career as a creator. The most recent projects of this new phase include Berserker Unbound, The Resistance, Bad Mother, Redemption, Not All Robots, The Fourth Man, Newthink, Absolution, and Red Zone. He returned to DC Comics with six critically acclaimed issues of The Flash and is currently working with UFC champion Ronda Rousey on a graphic novel titled Expect The Unexpected.
