Lelis
PENCILLER & ILLUSTRATOR
Born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Lelis has twenty-eight years of experience as an illustrator for newspapers and advertising agencies. During his career, he has contributed to more than one hundred books and is the author of six. As a comic book artist in the French market, he worked on Gueules Noires and Popeye: Un Homme à La Mer, in collaboration with renowned French writer Antoine Ozanam. He is also the author of En Fruite! and Réparation, published by the prestigious French publisher Les Rêveurs.
Lelis’s work has received significant recognition, including eight HQMIX Awards. He has also participated in several prestigious international festivals in France, including the Angoulême International Comics Festival, BD MIAM, and the Saint-Malo Comics Festival.
