Jefferson Costa iniciou sua carreira nos quadrinhos em 2003, na antologia Quebra-Queixo-Technorama #1, e estreou no mercado americano em 2005, na antologia Gunned Down, da editora Terra Major. Recentemente, escreveu e desenhou para a antologia Superman - O Mundo da DC. Também pela DC, realizou a capa de Super Choque.
Possui trabalhos publicados por editoras como Image (Outlaw Territory), Fantagraphics (Braba), e de forma independente (Arcane Sally & Mr. Steam). Em Portugal, realizou a adaptação da peça de Gil Vicente "A Farsa de Inês Pereira".
No Brasil, destacam-se obras como "Roseira", "Medalha", "Engenho", "Quando Nasce a Autoestima?", "Jeremias" e "La Dansarina", entre outras.
Jefferson Costa began his career in comics in 2003 with the anthology Quebra-Queixo-Technorama #1, and made his debut in the American market in 2005 with the anthology Gunned Down, published by Terra Major.
More recently, he wrote and illustrated for the anthology Superman - The World of DC. He also created the cover art for Static Shock, published by DC. He has collaborated with publishers such as Image (Outlaw Territory), Fantagraphics (Braba), and independently (Arcane Sally & Mr. Steam). In Portugal, he adapted Gil Vicente’s play "A Farsa de Inês Pereira".
