Cris Peter

Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where she lives to this day. She owns a company that provides digital coloring services for American comics publishers, such as Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse, among others. Graduated in Advertising and Publicity at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and postgraduate in Communication and Strategic Marketing at Senac-RS, she lectured at schools such as Quanta Academia in São Paulo, Joe Kubert School, in Dover, USA, and universities such as UniRitter, PUCRS, UFRJ and Senac (Porto Alegre). He participated as a speaker of several events, including FIQ – Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre Book Fair, ComicCon Experience, and others. Winner of the HQMix award for three consecutive years (2016, 2017 and 2018). As a color artist, she worked on notable titles from Marvel and DC, and was nominated for the 2012 ‘s Eisner Award for her work on “Casanova”, written by Matt Fraction and drawns by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá. Her artwork can also be seen in the brazilian label Graphic MSP, published by Maurício de Souza Produções and Panini Comics: “Astronauta – Magnetar”, “Astronauta – Singularidade” and “Astronauta – Asimetria”, written and drawn by Danilo Beyruth and edited by Sidney Gusman. Currently, she is working os her newest authoral comic, her debut as a penciller.

Cristiane D. Peter nasceu em 1983, em Porto Alegre, cidade onde reside. Possui uma empresa que presta serviços de colorização digital para editoras norte-americanas de HQs, tais como Marvel, DC, Image e Dark Horse, entre outras. Formada em Publicidade e Propaganda pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul e pós-graduada em Comunicação e Marketing Estratégico no Senac-RS, já ministrou cursos e palestras em escolas como a Quanta Academia de Artes em São Paulo, a Joe Kubert School, em Dover (NJ, EUA), e universidades como UniRitter, PUCRS, UFRJ e Senac (em Porto Alegre). Já participou como palestrante de vários eventos, incluindo o FIQ em Belo Horizonte, Feira do Livro de Porto Alegre, ComicCon Experience, e outros. Vencedora do prêmio HQMix por dois anos seguidos (2016, 2017 e 2018). Como colorista de quadrinhos, já trabalhou em títulos notáveis das editoras Marvel e DC, e foi indicada em 2012 ao prêmio Eisner por seu trabalho no título “Casanova”, escrito por Matt Fraction e desenhado por Fábio Moon e Gabriel Bá.
